  11.         To prepare your installation diskettes, log into the directory 
  12.         containing the two .ARJ file (IFW101_1.ARJ and IFW101_2.ARJ).  
  13.         
  14.         Place a high density disk (3½" or 5¼") into drive A:, and type:
  15.  
  16.             ARJ x -y IFW101_1 A:
  17.  
  18.         Do the same for the second file:
  19.  
  20.             ARJ x -y IFW101_2 A:
  21.  
  22.         Make sure that you use the 'x' parameter instead of the 'e' 
  23.         parameter to ARJ, so that it will create the appropriate 
  24.         directory structure on the target diskettes (the '-y' parameter 
  25.         forces a YES answer to each "Create this directory" prompt).

  27.         These will be your two installation diskettes.  Follow HP's 
  28.         installation instructions closely, and enjoy some free software 
  29.         from an American company known for its high quality products.

  33.         The following text is a verbatim copy of HP's liner notes for its 
  34.         distribution set for Intellifont and is copyrighted by Hewlett-
  35.         Packard Company.  I don't think they'll mind my including it in 
  36.         this fashion.  I've been using Intellifont for about 4 months now 
  37.         and am quite happy with it, especially its price (FREE!!!).  I 
  38.         have installed the extra four fonts that came with Type Director 
  39.         (Brush, Park Avenue, Dom Casual, Uncial); they work quite well.

  44.         Before you install HP Intellifont-for-Windows 3.0:
  45.  
  46.         1.  You must have already successfully installed an HP LaserJet 
  47.             III printer driver in Windows 3.0.
  48.  
  49.         2.  Select the HP LaserJet III on LPT1:,Active (or active port) 
  50.             printer driver through Windows' Control Panel Printers menu.
  51.  
  52.         3.  Exit Windows 3.0 completely and return to a DOS prompt (do 
  53.             not use the DOS icon in Windows).

  56.         To install HP Intellifont-for-Windows 3.0:
  57.  
  58.         1.  Insert Disk 1 into your floppy disk drive.
  59.  
  60.         2.  From the DOS prompt of your floppy disk drive, type IFWSETUP 
  61.             and press [ENTER].

  63.             Example:

  65.             A:\>IFWSETUP [ENTER]

  67.         3.  Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete 
  68.             installation.

  71.         An installation guide called IFWGUIDE.WRI will be placed in your 
  72.         Windows directory.  We recommend that you print this form Windows 
  73.         Write.

  75.         Have fun using the fastest printing font-scaling solution for HP 
  76.         LaserJet III family printers to create the best-looking documents 
  77.         you've ever produced.

  79.         Please feel free to copy the HP Intellifont-for-Windows 3.0 disks
